A partnership with Bakline will be stronger, more intimate and more mutually rewarding than simply carrying another large brand and customizing it with your logo in-shop or through contract printing. Like running, building a brand takes commitment and dedication, as well as consistency over time. We aim to be a partner in that process every step of the way.
CARRYING BAKLINE & CUSTOMIZATION OPTIONS
PRICING
Our pricing is extremely straightforward. We only charge the 50% of MSRP per what you order and postage/shipping supplied to get it to you. We do not charge ink fees, screen fees, set-up fees or any other kind of fees. The MSRP may change if the job we’re working on for you is highly customized, has multiple colors and we’re screen printing, or is generally more complex, but we will always be clear on what the MSRP is.
CUSTOMIZATION AND MINIMUMS
There are four main ways of working with Bakline to carry our products.
1) Carrying Bakline Product As Is
How it works: Bakline creates and sells original performance gear and graphic lifewear that express our passion for design, performance, and our sport. If you see a product from our own collection that you like (either performance or lifewear side), you can place an order for any of our in-stock items.
Minimums: None
2) Lightly Customized Performance Gear with Solid Color and Logo
How it works: We can customize a Bakline performance product with either
a) a solid Pantone color of your choosing, or
b) any pattern or color you see in Bakline’s public collection.
Your logo can go on up to two locations (front and/or back), in predefined locations (e.g., right chest, center chest, back neck). This allows you to offer something totally unique for your market in a way that doesn’t break the bank.
Minimums: 20 units per cut for tops
3) Fully Designed and Customized Performance Gear
How it works: We completely design something for you. Just about any design or image can be printed using sublimation with any number of colors and patterns. This is a major way we separate ourselves from any other brand you’ll ever work with. Our products are printed and dye-sublimted, then cut and sewn. This level of customization is pretty intensive. While the pricing doesn’t change per unit, the
minimums are higher.
Minimums: Each Design must be applied to at least 50 pieces. Each cut must have 30 units per design. If your overall order is greater than 200 pieces, then each cut only has to be 25 pieces.
4) Custom Printed Lifewear (Athleisure Apparel)
How it works: Bakline performs all screen printing in-house, giving us complete control over the quality of our products. We were frustrated with contract printers who simply didn’t care about the end result because they compete on price. Our hand-crafted production process is flexible. If you want a re-stock on a single size or two, we can do it. If there is an issue with a single print, we will take care of it.
Our design and production is fully in-house, and we care much more about partnerships than minimums. We do have a minimum of 30 per design, but we can be flexible depending on the overall order. We aim to build long-term relationships with our clients, and if you have a specific need or request, ask us.
